Money In The Bank Preview

How long has it been? A long time. Too long. Blogger hasn't been working for the best whack of 2 months on the laptop, and that is not best for business. I was also in Magaluf for a fortnight and missed three RAWs and two Smackdowns. It therefore took some time to catch up and bask in the glorious few weeks of WWE. It's been awfy good indeed. Luckily, everything is caught up and working again right in time for Money In The Bank - one PPV I've personally been looking forward to this year. So aye, here's a wee preview of what's to come tomorrow night.

Big E vs Rusev

Where better tae start than with the match that no cunt could care any less about? Rusev's push has been, for lack of a better word, shite. Do something good with both of these talented guys before it's too late. Rusev, logically, should go over, but with the whole USA vs Russia theme to the match, I wouldn't be surprised to see Big E pick up the win. Therefore, my pick for this one is Big E.

Paige vs Naomi (Divas Championship)

Good burds wrestling over a belt. Finally some life in the Divas division. This will be a belter of a match with Paige coming out on top. Though, the win will probably come as a result of some interference from Cameron, who's been acting like a heely bint in recent weeks, turning on her tag partner and leading to a feud between the two.

Summer Rae vs Layla (Fandango special guest ref)

All over a twitter break up eh? I can see the swerve a mile away. Summer and Johnny Curtis will be pumping again in nae time after he quick counts Layla. Nothing much more to be said on that match to be honest. Should be half decent in terms of pure wrestling but ye imagine it'll be centered around the comedy/relationship spots.

Goldust and Stardust vs Rybaxel

Just when ma main men Rybaxel are getting some momentum, and the Rhodes were heading straight for a singles feud... they dae this. I'm inty the Stardust gimmick, but it's becoming a bit of a prick tease with the Rhodes boys, who've been lackluster at best since dropping the tag belts. A feud between the two can potentially save Cody's career, and put him back in the spotlight that he so rightly deserves. Rybaxel need a wee hawd of the tag belts, if only for a week, because why not? Entertaining as fuck, and they've been on a bit of a good run recently. You can only really see the 'Dust's winning this bout, but if Goldust was to be pinned, leading to Cody turning, that would certainly be right gid.

The Usos vs Rowan and Harper (Tag Team Titles)

Hawd on... The Usos? In a title match? On a PPV? Whit? After being the hand-picked heavies for John Cena and Sheamus over the past several weeks, I think it's time for Jimmy n Jey to drop the belts they waited oh so long to get. I love them as wrestlers and as champs, but I can't see them contending with Bray Wyatt's family here, who will be out to do Bray proud leading up to his big match in the main event. When Rowan and Harper held those belts last week, they just looked... right. As if they were their own belts. The Wyatt family to pick up the win, and the belts here.

Money In The Bank Match

There's two ladder matches on this PPV, and this one may just edge it in terms of sheer viewing quality. Kofi Kingston, Dolph Ziggler, Seth Rollins, Rob Van Dam, Jack Swagger and the King of Kings... Dean Ambrose all line up for this contract match. Bad News Barrett is booked also but following a shoulder injury during the Smackdown taping, I doubt he'll make it. From the contestants, we can expect the high-octane, high-flying spots from all over the place, as well as the constantly breathtaking storytelling of Dean Ambrose, who not only wants the contract, but Seth Rollins' heid on a silver platter. I'd be happy with anyone but Kingston or Swagger winning this, but if I had to choose one, it's got to be Ambrose, who has by now reverted back to his screwball, Jon Moxley ways, to grab the case and walk about taunting the Authority and his former brother in arms with the fact that he will be world champion at one point in the next year.

8-Man Ladder Match (WWE World Heavyweight Championship)

John Cena. Randy Orton. Cesaro. Sheamus. Alberto Del Rio. Bray Wyatt. Kane. Roman fuckin' Reigns. 8 men. A vacated championship. Loads a metal. Let the games commence. As disheartening as it was to see Daniel Bryan stripped of the belts, this will be a bonafide classic ladder match. But with all the star power in there, only one man has all the momentum going into this, and that man is Roman Reigns. On both RAW and Smackdown this week, it ended with the big man standing tall over fallen Authority members, and perhaps most importantly, with the belts in his hands on Smackdown. This is seemingly his match to lose, but with the constant rumor of Cena vs Lesnar at Summerslam, the door is still open for Cena to get the win. Too hard to pick a winner. Wyatt won't win but if he did, it would be spectacular, and probably result in the best TV in a long time, with the potential of a Wyatt/Ambrose singles feud for the belts. Fantasy booking, yes, but do you disagree? Didn't think so.

This has an abundance of potential to be the best PPV (except Mania obviously) of the year. Let's hope it lives up to it.
