NXT Review 4/9/14

Not done a review of a WWE show in aaaaages, so I thought, rather than having to suffer re-watching RAW or Smackdown, I'd go down the more pleasant path. The path filled with future stars. NXT. Here, we're now less than a week away from NXT Takeover 2, and the number 1 contenders for The Ascension's tag belts would be decided this week, as well as some more no doubt braw build-up stuff for the big event, so I chose a good one to review eh? So we kick off with some Divas action...

Bonded By Blood?

Wrestling. A sport. A drama. An art-form. Something that allows us to put the troubles of our "real lives" to the back of our minds and has us engrossed with men and women telling stories in the form of wrestling matches. The ability to tell these stories have been perfected recently by a pair of guys who are cousins no less. Two men who have tried relentlessly to end each other's careers and/or lives on more than one occasion over the past year, stemming from a storied rivalry that dates back to their early days in the wrestling business. These two men are Wolfgang and BT Gunn. Cousins, best friends, fierce enemies.

Fierce Females: Strewth Sheila & ICW: 1.21 Gigawatts, Great Scott! - Results

Wrestling. Hunners ae it. 16 matches split over two shows and every one of them were fucking quality. I could do a dinky wee intro about ma day leading up to the wrestling, but naecunt wants to read that, so I'll just dive inty the first show.

We kicked off the day with some Fierce Females, coming to us live from Walkabout in Glasgow. It was a last minute decision to check out this show, because we found out it wasn't sold out and were bored shiteless waiting to go in for ICW. What we got was well worth the 8 quid paid on the door, and I'd have happily paid 18 quid to see this show in hindsight, as we kicked off the action with the first female to make me shite myself of the afternoon...
