RAW Review 29/9/14

In a time when nothing seems to be going right for WWE in terms of main event talent succumbing to injury or *clears throat* walking out, it's nice that we've found ourselves a hero. The unlikeliest of heroes. Someone who can electrify an audience simply by unexpectedly jumping out of over-sized presents, or being thrown out the back of a moving car. The two top faces in the company that aren't John Cena are injured, Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns won't be wrestling for a good while. So who will take their place? Sheamus? Big Show? Jack Swagger? I don't think so, there's only one man who can get a crack at being the top babyface in the company for now, and his name is Dean Ambrose.

The Breaking of The Streak

As you probably would have gathered from the title, this is going to be about The Undertaker, and more specifically, The Streak, and if you want to delve even deeper into it, why it seemed inevitable that the streak was going to be ended sooner rather than later. I, along with 100% of the worldwide wrestling community, thought that Wrestlemania 30 was going to be just another notch in the win column for The Phenom. After all, that's what he is, right? The Phenom. The Deadman. The Demon of Death Valley. A man of many names. One of the most feared and revered individuals to ever step foot inside a wrestling ring. So how is it even fathomable, that one of the most poignant images in his legendary career would be this?

ICW: Helter Skelter Preview

It's almost the end of September which means it's almost October, which means it's almost time for Insane Championship Wrestling to embark on the Magical Mystery Tour. That means five shows, five cities, in only two weeks. Not for the faint-hearted. If you are someone who is going to all five of the shows, you have earned my utmost respect. Not only is this important as it is a UK wide tour, but also because these five shows are playing as the prelude to Fear & Loathing VII at the Barrowlands on November 2nd, the biggest night of the ICW year. Without any further ado, I'd better get straight into the first show... Another trip to Newcastle. Should be a belter.

ICW: Helter Skelter
5th October 19:00-23:00
02 Academy, Newcastle
Westgate Road, NE1 1SW
